I ride my bike to work… I'm a bike commuter

HOW A 60 TURNS INTO A 20

Bill and I were planning on doing a 60-mile ride yesterday. Started out just fine. 6.33 miles into the ride, my left riding shoe breaks a clip needed to “lock” my feet into the pedal. Without the ability to lock in, you basically can’t ride.

I was pissed. I mapped out this great (new roads) route that I had been looking forward to all week.

So, Bill and Mike went on, and I limped back home. I stretched my ride into a 20=-miler, but it wasn’t the 60 I was hoping for. So bummed.

I did get out this morning for a 20-miler to make up for the 40 miles I missed yesterday.
